#cuteanimaltweetoff Threatens to Take Over Twitter – and It All Started With Popped Host Sarah Hill

Sarah Hill decides that what the world really needs is a #cuteanimaltweetoff

Wednesday morning started as what has become the new normal: a depressing amount of news threatening to keep us all feeling bad about a wide range of scary topics. But Popped host and social media wiz Sarah Hill (known now as Norfolk Woman) decided that she wasn’t going to spend her day drowning in a sea of politics and anger.

When the National Zoo tweeted out an adorable pic of their new baby seal pup she promptly issued a challenge to the Virginia Aquarium – and #cuteanimaltweetoff began.

The challenge was accepted, and the most adorable Twitter war ever was started. Zoos and Aquariums across the country joined in to throw down, pitting their most cuddly critters against one another, each trying to prove that they were the cutest.

The real winners here are the humans enjoying the battle.
